Loon’s Landing Resort is also a excellent destination for fishing vacations. Pickerel Lake provides great pan fishing and even trophy fish for the wall. All species of game and pan fish are found in the lake and adjoining river.

Pickerel Lake is a 735 acre spring fed lake with a hard sand bottom providing excellent fishing and swimming. Over half the shoreline consists of undeveloped woodlands which create a peaceful fishing lake. This is home to an abundance of wildlife, like loons, eagles, osprey, blue heron and deer.

Spring and Fall not only offer some of the best fishing available, but also some of the most spectacular scenery the Northwoods has to offer, all of which can be viewed right from.
