Beaver's Resort
Welcome to Beaver’s Resort. Beaver’s Resort is on beautiful Lake Of The Falls. It is 6 miles west of Mercer, WI in Iron County. The lake is about 350 acres and has Muskie, Walleye, Large and Small Mouth Bass, and Pan fish. It is an excellent size lake to kayak fish or to fish from a boat. The lake feeds into the Turtle Flambeau Flowage via the Turtle River.
In addition to the fish in the river, the area has the highest collective number of bald eagles, osprey, and common loon breeding pairs in Wisconsin. There are also over 150 other bird species that can be seen in addition to turkey, grouse and pheasant.
Deer, bear, bobcat and timber wolves are common in the area and you may see the occasional moose or elk.
There are 500 miles of snowmobile trails and nearly 200 miles of ATV trails in Iron County. These trails are marked and maintained by two clubs. Beaver’s in located on Trail 12.
There are unlimited number of ways to enjoy Lake Of The Falls such as swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, or just sitting on the dock and enjoying the scenery.
