Palmquist Farm

Palmquist Farm
Groups, Open All Year

My name is Jim Palmquist, and my 800-acre farm is located in North Central Wisconsin. My wife Helen and I do raise beef cattle and timber on our farm, but our real passion is great Finnish hospitality that goes back nearly 110 years.

Our farm has been in my family since 1902. Back then, it was just a 40 acre subsistence farm that my great grandfather started. Since then, many generations of my family have lived and worked this farm and made it what it is today. We are proud to be a family business that has been taking in guests since 1949.

Since 1949, Palmquist Farm has hosted guests from all over the United States and the world. Many of them return year after year. For our guests, visiting The Farm is like coming home to Grandma’s house. We would love to treat you to that same warm, pleasant experience. Take a look at the To Do list to the right for more information on The Farm, its history, and other news-related items.

After a day of farm activities, enjoy a relaxing evening in our cozy cottages. We have smaller cabins for 2 to 6 people. Our large, handcrafted log cabin (called “The White Pine Inn”) is perfect for big groups. We have a total of 5 cabins and a few rooms in the Farm House that can fit about 40 to 50 people.
